How do Soirees by Starling events work?
Each of our experiences are designed to be all-inclusive and hassle-free. On the day of your event, we deliver, set up, and style. We will schedule a set-up time with you in advance to ensure everything is ready to go at least an hour before guests are scheduled to arrive. An artist will return the next day to pack everything away.

Can I pick up items and set up your tents/tables myself?
Great question! In order for us to maintain the integrity of our equipment and other rental props, we do require that our Soirees by Starling Artist set up and take down the tables and tents. Many of our items are one of a kind or custom made just for us, so they must be handled with care.

When should I book?
As a small business, our weekend availability fills quickly! We recommend booking 4 weeks in advance to ensure availability for your event date. If you’re under a tight timeline, please contact us and we will see what we can do.

Booking times?
Soiree Picnics- We suggest the following start times: 10am, 2pm, 6pm. Your artist will arrive approximately 30 minutes prior to set up your event.
Overnight Bell Tent Events- (3pm-10:30am)
Chill Out Party -4 hour rental
Proposal Packages- Enquire to have a chat with our Proposal Coordinator.

What do I need to do before the Soiree Event at my home?
We will require a clear area to set up the event. For TeePee Parties we can arrange the teepees in a variety of configurations - line up, aisles, semi circle. If you have any questions regarding whether a space will work, please ask us and we can work with you to come up with a workable option for you. Additionally, someone over the age of 18 must be available during set-up and take-down.

How much space do the tents require?
5m Bell Tent- 7m x 7m (23 ft x 23 ft) flat, open area
14ft Movie Screen- 12ft-25ft of outdoor space

Can I reserve a second night in the tents?
Yes! This is an option depending on availability. Just get in touch with us and we’ll make something work.

Are paper products included?
All of our children’s picnic packages come with our eco-friendly products such as, plates, cutlery etc..

Can you set up in a different venue than my house?
Yes; if you are planning to host at a public space, we are happy to help coordinate and have contact with local authorities regarding permits, etc..

Do you offer custom themes?
Yes! Contact us, and we will work with you to create your personalized bespoke event!

How is everything cleaned?
After each event, all bedding (including pillow protectors, mattress protectors, sheets, blankets) is laundered with allergy-friendly detergent. Activity trays and lanterns are disinfected after each use with eco-friendly products. Tent canopies, decorative pillows, and other decorative items are spot cleaned.

What happens in the event of inclement weather?
In the event of extreme or inclement weather on the date of your outdoor party (Glamping or Movie Night), we will work with you to find a mutually agreed upon alternate date. We will closely monitor weather forecasts in advance of any outdoor parties and maintain open communication with you.

What is your cancellation policy?
Due to the custom nature of our events, we require 2 weeks notice to cancel your event with us in order to receive a full refund. A request for change of dates will be based on availability of the preferred date.

Is the 5M bell tent suitable for families?
Our 5 meter bell tent can accommodate a family of 6 with full bedding and styling. A Queen bed for mum and dad, and single beds for the kiddies. We even put in a couple of little surprises to make sure that everyone gets the best out of your glamping experience.

What happens if it rains?
Our bell tents are 100% waterproof so we still go ahead with the booking even with heavy rain. However, if you wish to cancel due to inclement weather (temperatures above 39 degrees, heavy storms, heavy rain or thunder and lightning, as forecast by the Cayman Islands National Weather Service (CINWS), we are happy to reschedule at no cost up, until the day before your party.
During particularly heavy or persistent rain, water can drip through zips, so ensure all tent zips are not exposed.
